The Harpy class of enemies will be able to parkour around the environment like Cole does, meaning that the easy tactical advantage of grabbing high ground won't last very long. Cole's new powers also include a Punch Blast, a wave of force that pushes enemies back and a stake kill. The new abilities get governed by a Corruption Meter, a beating heart which gets filled by the blood you consume from NPCs. It works well with the new Move support that's also coming to the game. Shadow Swarm lets Cole fly, changing him into a swarm of bats. One of them fundamentally changes how you get around New Marais. Different powers become available depending on how good or bad you are, but Festival of Blood will have only one new set of skills-along with Cole's electrical powers-for players to unlock. The biggest change in FOB might be the elimination of the Karma Meter, which has measured how much of an altruistic hero or a selfish vigilante you're making Cole become as the game progresses. You'll also take Cole into entirely new areas like the Catacombs, the underground locale where the vampires of New Marais live. There's a reason that it was the #1 PSN game for months. You'll see giant, destructible effigies, new NPC models and familiar locations done over to make them feel horrific. Even if it sold for twice the price, the game would still be necessary fun.

The story lasts over an hour, but with more collectibles added in game, you can spend three times that, plus the UGC tools and missions add near infinite replayability. The two user made missions that are integrated in-game are not even necessary to play a quick system reset or even logging out of PSN disables them.

The plot line is simple enough that you don't need to play the other two games, and the user made content system shines with the new cut-scene tool. Having the ability to fly really shows potential for later games (if a third main game is ever made, that is). The new powers are stay simple (if they got any more amazing, the game would have to be disc based) and really show the Suck Punch style. It takes the Infamous 2 shell and adds in new powers and abilities, plus a few new enemy types. It takes the Infamous 2 shell and adds in new powers and abilities, Sucker Punch's Halloween follow up to Infamous 2 is extremely satisfying.

Sucker Punch's Halloween follow up to Infamous 2 is extremely satisfying. The fact that Cole uses evil powers exclusively in this game gives me hope that another DLC is headed our way in which Cole exclusively uses his powers for good. The comic-style cut scenes have upped their game, which I didn't think possible. I won't go into detail about the story, but it is interestingly told. Although the majority of the gameplay is unchanged, it's still a lot of fun to move around Empire City especially with the new ability to transform into a swarm of bats and FLY.

The catacombs are a lot like the sewers of inFamous 1. In addition to your normal ability to sense electricity, you can sense vampires, hidden runes and the collectables. Instead of reviving or bio-leeching citizens you can bite or stake them. Blast shards and dead drops have been replaced with vampire equivalents. Instead of Sucker Punch has slightly changed aspects of the game. Sucker Punch has slightly changed aspects of the game.
